1.
At North Valley, we encourage people to happily and willingly give financially as part of their worship and for the purpose of our mission as a church. We believe that for someone to tithe (give financially to the church) is not a have to, but a get to. We strive to commit ourselves to worshipping Jesus with our everything—which includes our wallets. See below for the various ways you can give.
interac e-transfer
For one-time donations, e-transferring from your online bank is a great and simple option. To do this, begin the process of making an e-transfer on your online bank. When asked for an email for the recipient (North Valley Baptist Church), type in “donations@nvbc.ca.” If it’s your first time donating via e-transfer, please send a quick email to secretary@nvbc.ca to state that you’ve donated (you don’t need to say how much), along with your contact information for receipting purposes. Thank you!
2.
Direct Debit
If you’d like an option where your donation is recurring automatically, direct debit is the way to go. To set this up, go to our bookkeeper’s website (https://www.woodennickel.ca), click the little envelope on the right-hand side of the page, and request information on donating to your church. Their service will take it from there.
3.
Canada Helps
Canada Helps is a simple, online, and secure way to give financially. Simply go to their website (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/), and on their main page where it says “Find a charity,” search, “North Valley Baptist Church.” After that, our church will pop up (notice that it will say “Mission, BC”). Once you click on our church, you will have the option to give financially (note that you will have to choose between giving to our “General” fund, or “Benevolent” fund).
4.
Physical Cash or Cheque
We have two offering boxes available in our church building—one at the back of teh auditorium and one next to the prayer room door. Please call us at 604-826-2015 for other options, or use our online general contact form.
